The GAYA BARU INDAH is a Phinisi, built the traditional way entirely from Indonesian woods. She has 2 double cabins, 1 twin cabin and 1 four bed cabin for 8-10 guests. The cabins are air conditioned, have fans and it`s hatches and portholes can be opened for ventilation. Her 3 shared onboard showers are provided with ample freshwater from an onboard 5000 l/day water maker. Guests enjoy 3 tasty meals a day at the wooden common dining table as well as plenty of local snacks with your afternoon tea or coffee. GAYA BARU INDAH offers excellent space on the bowsprit, the lower and upper decks to relax on sunbeds and reclining chairs in the shade or sunbathe.

On GAYA BARU INDAH we focus on exploring and scuba diving the waters of West Papua. Our dive groups are small to allow individual service to each diver. Join us to dive with Oceanic Mantas, watch dolphins play in the wake as well as diving along a World War II wreck while sharing the waters with over 1600 species of fish (the highest biodiversity ever recorded), and if you’re lucky you can catch a glimpse of a leatherback turtle finding a spot for its nest while relaxing on a beach. GAYA BARU INDAH is fully equipped with compressors and a nitrox generator. Nitrox is free of extra charge on all dives. Tanks (DIN&Yoke), weights and rental gear are available as needed. There is a separate rinse tank for underwater camera equipment on the shaded dive deck. 2 speed boats take you to the dive site and back to the main ship. Our dive crew speaks English, German, Korean and Indonesian. From October to April we dive Raja Ampat Central, North and South and then move to Cenderawasih Bay from May to September to explore its reefs and dive with whale sharks.

This new compact Phinisi is ready to operate in Raja Ampat.

Raja Ampat tours start and end in Waisai while tours in Cenderawasih Bay start and end in Manokwari or Nabire. Both our Raja Ampat Central and North tours are for a minimum of 7 days while tours to Raja Ampat South and Cenderawasih Bay are usually for 10 days.

Rates for individual bookings: 7 days 1,950US$, 10 days 2,790US$

Private charter rates for GAYA BARU INDAH are USD 1950$ /day for Raja Ampat and Cenderawasih Bay, maximum 10 passengers.

In order to join our cruises divers should have advanced certification, a minimum of 30 logged dives, diving practice within 12 months before the cruise and be at least 16 years old.

Inclusions:

Full board accommodation (3 meals and snacks), fresh towels and linen, 3 dives a day plus a night dive twice a week, limited or no diving on departure and arrival days, nitrox on all dives, tanks and weights, land excursions as offered, self-service of drinking water, Indonesian coffee and tea, government taxes, port clearance fees.

Exclusions:

Flights, transport and accommodation on land before and after the cruise, excess luggage fees, national park entry fees, diving courses, rental diving gear (please ask for price list), dive insurance (mandatory), alcoholic beverages and canned soft drinks (offered at reasonable prices on board), tips for dive guides and crew (5-20% of cruise rate recommended).
