For more than 8 years, SongLine Yachts has been managing new construction projects together with a carefully selected group of traditional builders, carpenters and suppliers. We have selected this group based on many years of experience with them, their characters and personalities and we consider all of these respected men as close friends.

Project management

Robin Engel

Collective responsibilities in vessel Design's and organizational project oversight is provided by Mr. Robin Engel & Rimayanti, founders of SongLine Cruises & SongLine Yachts, both have more that 20 years of collective experience in the operation and construction of these traditional vessels. As owner operators of several Pinisi Schooners there insight into what is needed to operate and maintain these vessels, provides valuable input to any new owner or investor in this type of vessels.

Rima

Architectural team

Technical aspects of SongLine Yachts are provided by Mr. Nino Kusmara a greaduate of ITS Surbaya and who has a keen appreciation of wooden construction techniques. Nino has been associated with SongLine Yachts for many years and his team of architectural specialist, provide a wide variety of support perspectives to each SongLine Yacht Project.

Baso

While SongLine is located in Jakarta and our projects are for the most part in South Sulawesi, our site teams are a very important aspect of organization. My site leader Capt. Baso, is a trusted friend and long time Captain of Traditional Fleet vessels. Capt. Baso, oversees some 25 traditional carpenters, riggers and finishers that work together to make each of our projects a success.



Technical team & service divison

Our Engineering Team is headed by another Long Time Friend and Traditional Fleet Engineer Bpk Bobby. His team is responsible for engine installations, welding, and fiberglass fabrication and provides maintenance support to many vessels in the Traditional Fleet of Indonesia.
