Takabonerate National Park and the island of Selayar are located 4 hours by car and 8 hours sailing from Makassar, South Sulawesi. Takabonerate and Pulau Selayar have been identified as home to some of the best dive sites in all of Indonesia. However the seasonality of winds and wave activities east of Selayar Island limit comfortable access to this area to the months of October-April. Over this period, the Schooner Rima is operating a five day liveaboard dive program that you are invited to join.

The Schooner RIMA is equipped with full dive equipment - compressor, snorkeling and fishing gear. While we plan to visit the Takabonerate Atoll, this feature can not be promised due to wind conditions and will only be visited if the conditions permit. It should be noted that the dive sites we visit on the southern tip of Selayar are more than sufficient to make your visit one of the best dives of your life!
