    The Raja Empat zone of West Papua Province supports many vessels over the peak season being October – April, however there are vessels operating year around in this important distination. For the most part the off season has some rain and limited wave activities, but frankly Raja Empat is a year round dive destination.

    It has only been over the last few years that our Traditional Fleet members have begun to explore the wealth of world class diving around the North Maluccus. This reality is common in Indonesia and if you are into new dive destinations, Indonesia is full of them.

    Now this one is such a great plan, it is hard to understand why more people do not make the trek necessary to dive the Togian’s but the fact of the matter is simply that its hard to get there unless by Liveaboard or Ferry Boat. In any case Diving the Togian’s is a full holiday experience, but with limited departures planning is important.

    This combination destination program is the best way to see all that North Sulawesi has to offer, if you have the time Bunakan and the underwater Volcano of Sengahera is another full holiday experience.

    Alor / Banda

    This link will take you to a short list of departures that visit these special areas. Most of our visits to these zones are part of transits of vessels from the Komodo area to Raja Empat, which are special operations and you are wise to join them. All is fantastic in both these destinations.

    What a special place this National Park is and what a special yet unknown dive destination this is, again a little isolated, but more than well worth the effort.

    Located off the east coast of Indonesian Borneo, the remote island of Maratua is most easily reached via Singapore and Balikpapan, followed by a one hour flight to Berau where our traditional fleet visits occationally. This is yet another distination that will surely see more scheduled operations in the future.

    Crossing this area again because its one of this very specials places, that the world has yet to understand. Moratai, a WWII Japanese Fighter base and supply center, can we just ask you to think what awaits the adventurous diver.

    Beyond Raja Empat Of all the tropical reefs we have seen in our years of diving, Triton Bay is at the top of the list for fish diversity, soft corals and topside scenery. Rightly called a 'species factory' by leading marine scientists, the region's dive sites are swarming with fish and almost every nook is occupied by an exotic invertebrate. For us as adventurers and lovers of exotic dive travel, probably the best thing about Triton Bay is that it remains largely unexplored, and live aboard divers still have the opportunity to dive on untouched reefs.
