A NEW CONCEPT FOR VISITING THE
KOMODO NATIONAL PARK

We all try to pack as much as possible into our precious Holiday time. Visiting the Komodo National Park requires a minimum of 2 or 3 days to fully capture even the basic's of this experience. If you add the fact that diving the Komodo National Park, is some of the best diving in the world or if you understand that sport fishing is also some of the best in Indonesia, allocation of 4-7 days is in fact the minimum that should be considered.
The FLOTILLA 08 Project will start in 2008 and is designed to provide much needed short to medium term accommodation and water sport facilities to the list of options for visiting the Komodo National Park. The concept of FLOTILLA 08 has drawn 3 traditional vessels into a floating FLOTILLA which each rotate daily to a different mooring in the Komodo National Park and surrounding waters. Each of these vessels is operated as a floating accommodation base, and provide hotel quality services aboard. Fine Dining, daily room services and a list of exciting water sport activities like Sport Fishing, Scuba Diving and watersking are all available at special prices to the select few guests that each of these vessels accommodate.
The FLOTILLA 08 Project provides three classes of accommodations, 5 Star, 4 Star and 3 Star vessels are offered. Guests are flown into Labuhan Bajo (The Komodo International Airport) from Bali, met and immediately transferred to the village dock, where you high-speed launch will be standing bye to whisk you to your selected vessel already on her days targeted mooring. The FLOTILLA 08 hosts will get you settled into your accommodation, advise you of your day excursion options and make all the necessary arrangements for you to start your Komodo Experience. Specialty services such as diving and sport fishing are paid aboard or can be pre-booked prior to your arrival. Food is based on the class of vessel, but be assured, that fine dining is a key element of the FLOTILLA 08 Project Plan.
